We are not signing Suarez, we never were.

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. How do you know?
I hope he's right, though, regardless of how he knows!

What makes no sense is signing Suarez.
Gerrard needs to pipe down clearly trying to rush through moves to make sure he curry favor with Liverpool
I'm all for Coutinho but this signing of Suarez makes little sense and the club should not be forced by Steven Mee to change all our plans
We have two 30m pound assets as strikers and an excellent up and coming players in Archer plus plenty of attacking force and options
The system He plays requires one striker as well he's already forcing Watkins out of position.
I think Suarez is necessary

You disparaging our manager is becoming really tedious. You can dislike him, and say so, without calling him names.

Yes I trying not to! Sorry.

I'd be Ok with Suarez. Ok he's a nasty bastard. But he'd improve what we've got rather than hoping Ings and Watkins works.

Ings OR Watkins.  Ings or Watkins will work, they are very decent strikers and will have great players around them.

I'd love to sign him, a proper shithouse who'd wind every opposition player and fan up.

We've only really got Young who gets in the refs ear, we need a bit more of that.

Yeah, he finally gave in to Daz Hales chummy questions and let something slip about his private life.

I know we seem to say it every week but I absolutely love how honest and blunt he is in press conferences.

He is definitely quite amused by Daz Hales - in ‘here’s the local nutter’ kind of way.

I can't be the first person to suggest that there's an air of Alex Ferguson there. A serious, single-minded determination to succeed.

I'm confident in saying that I will probably never like him, but he could do great things with us. He has that cold authority about him.

Definitely agree TV, he is very polished in front of the camera, albeit in an understated and as you say honest and blunt manner. I'm not quite ready to get the Steven G tattoo on my hairy arse yet, but I'm starting to have feelings of hope for the future again.

I'm hopeful based on his comments that we could see a DCM and either a CB or a forward arrive before the end of the window.

Who's the Brummie who seems to have wandered in from The Sportsman to ask a few questions?
