As Spurs somehow turned it round Villa don't have a 5pt gap to 10th places which the case as Leicester were winning.to the very death

It wasn’t just five games in a row.

It was 18 games in the calendar year to the point he got sacked.  There were no guarantees he would’ve won in the next few either. In fact the way we were headed I couldn’t see another chance of a win until the Norwich game in mid December when we would’ve been near the relegation zone.  He had passed his sell by date a fair amount of time before he got the bullet.  He’s gone.  Get over it.

Can't help thinking this thread should be in Villa Memories rather than other football.

No, move it to its own little bin. This is too good.

I kinda wish I didn't find this now!
Very hard comments on Deano
Any how brilliant tactics and played it just right
Well done Smith !

The thread above looks scary so won't be clicking on that or investigating all these other threads and things. So confusing.  Wow there's a lot . Too much for me far too overwhelming for all the information on all these various topics
I do like being accurate thread and keeping on topic so I will now hope this is accessible for me

And I don't know if I'll be able to find this thread again so easily although I could find it through previous post now.
Thanks CH for pointing in direction

I hope this remains a positive thread for him as well as a watch on his progression with Norwich.

To be honest tactics wise not a great deal of difference between Smith and Gerrard.  The difference is in the pulling power 100%

Any particular reason by Villa Boy on Twitter is claiming that Dean Smith is actually a Sandwell fan?

Is that the same Villa Boy who has the YouTube channel which has all the old TV coverage of old games?
