The team he has picked is the opposite of a meritocracy.
Not sure what message that sends to the rest of the squad.

Impressive.  32 mins in Sky and barely mentioned Villa

I understand they've got planned 30 seconds, in which they will talk solely about Villa.

I never watch Sky prematch these days. Its about.their favoured four or five - the rest of us are just the teams that play them.

Looking more and more like we promised Ings he will always play.
more worrying is he has promised Manure Tuanzabe will start.

Who gives a shit what they say / don't say really though.  As annoying as it can be, we all know the score.  Until the Villa is genuinely challenging we are, as somebody else has said, the equivalent of cannon fodder for etc super-duper 6 (or 7 or whatever it is these days).  Fuck em.

Amazed we're unchanged, was expecting 4-3-3.

Don't get Traore not making bench if he's fit either.

Think we're just happy with a point tonight.

Just heard his pre-match interview with Sky. Deluded.

“Interesting” coverage on sky… are we playing??
that's why I watch on DAZN or NBCSN - the coverage from America is miles better

His usual one in the week was just as bad. “If both your strikers are scoring you’ll win more than you lose.” They’ve both scored 1 in 6 and we lost both of the games they did score in.

So should Dean Smith or several of the players read the crap being thrown on this thread it’s not really going to help them is it. Crikey, support the people out there tonight for goodness sake…so many bloody experts and not enough supporters

He looked desperate, we are in OGS world, he is now at the mercy of his players to pull out a result.

I’m guessing they might not spot it, I heard they’re out doing something or other tonight.
