So why while 42, 000 people are applauded taking the knee,  and are encouraged to celebrate history months,  outside villa park the local mirpurs are attacking football fans.

You 4 eyed geek apologise in your communist rag about your 'come to villa park again ' comments he thinks all brown people are Manu fans.  I know punjabi people.
Well looky here, it's the fascist Brick Tamland.

Did anyone get caught up in the fun and games after the match in Aston Park?

A gang of local kids were firing fireworks randomly into the fans walking down Trinity Road. They were then chased into the park by Villa fans, but then chased the Villa fans back down towards the road waving knives and machetes.
How do we know that it was a gang of local kids?
And 'kids'? - were they all under 16, do you think?

I assumed local, they could have of course come from anywhere. But hanging around a park, nowhere near public transport chances are they are local.

Age wise, judging by their size, clothes, tracksuits, hoodies, puffer jackets, and those little handbags, they looked like teenagers.

But of course you may know different?

No, I know no different, LV: I was simply intrigued as to whom it might have been.

I live in the area and I can tell you that kids get attacked all the time for being in the wrong postcode area. I'd put money on them being from B6.

I used to always park at King Edward school until fairly recently and wouldn't think twice about walking across Aston Park day or night, might do now though!

Why aren't people on here calling the youths scum ? That's what people on here do when some posts a racist comment on social media.

This was a racist attack on Villa fans.

And how do you know it's a racist attack?

What is your beef? Have you nothing better to do? Could you not email someone to air your views without resorting to this?

Please?

When I was at school (not that long ago, relatively speaking) I would've had my head kicked in for wearing one of those handbags. Now the thugs are wearing them.

Does make you wonder, though.  Many a time I've stayed in the Holte Suite/Social or even corporate for a few beers before making my way to Aston Station for the train into town.  I've never once thought that I could be a target for trouble...until now
