What a brilliant game. Been a long time since I enjoyed one against that lot of plastic twunts.

This is our record against them since my first match (including 2000-2007 at a secondary school that was about 50% gloryhunting scumbags) and throughout, they have uniformly been the least gracious supporters I've ever met.

You notice after the pen 3 united attackers ahead of the defenders for the rebound though.

It's a real bugbear of mine too, defenders not following penalties in for any rebound. Drives me mad.

Different these days though as the defender encroaching means a retake where the attacker doesn't. And with VAR it is more likely to be picked up so goes against the defensive team to be so anticipatory.

Ball was swung out and ollie was standing his ground so De Gea couldn't attempt to get over so fast or try to claim it. He then let De Gea move him out the way just before the header and Hause scored. So Ollie was next to De Gea non interfering  but no other between him and the goal line. So in a position that could be called offside if the ball had gone his way but as it didn't, he wasn't.

Tell you what, Shughie's earning his corn. Watch how our seemingly casual movement before the delivery, especially from Mings, clears a massive space in front of De Gea. And he knew it, as well.
