As mentioned on MOTD, only Haaland and Salah have more goal involvements (goals/assists) per minute than our Leon.

Not mentioned on MOTD, but Ollie is now joint top (and actually should have been in the lead) for goal contributions for the season.

After the Wolves match when he cried I remember posting ' Man up or f*ck off'.

I take my hat off to Bailey, in the face of adversity he has turned into one of the best players in the league.

Well done Leon. Keep it up.

When the article shows he is beating Salah and Jota for goal involvement per 90, why did they clarify "A couple of his goals were aided by deflections, granted,"? I expect a couple of Salah's has been, in fact his "200th" definitely was and might even have been given as an OG if it wasn't being celebrated as the milestone one.

I just felt the clarification wasn't needed and seemed to be a justification on how he can be beating Salah.

You only get two thirds of a “goal involvement” if it’s deflected…

It's a bit harsh as well as the with Citeh goal, he's picked up the ball on the halfway line, skinned the fullback with one touch, and sent both centre halves to the shops before shooting.

It was desperation caused by his skill that led to the deflection, not like it was some random dig that luckily wrongfooted the keeper.

Surprised how little criticism he has received for today’s performance.
He was atrocious and a major reason  why we did not make more of the opportunities we had today.
Maybe it was because Diaby almost managed to out do him for ineptitude.
He looked totally disinterested.

It’s probably because he’s been utterly fantastic this season, arguably one of the best players in the league. So a bad game probably doesn’t warrant throwing him to the wolves.

Won player of the month.  Bloody curse.  He was absolute shite today.  Poor decision making right from the off.  Right decision to hook him but nothing better on the bench to replace him with.
