I'm hopeful Diaby has a better second half of the season then we start to see the real player next season

Hope so too. Started like a house on fire, last three months he’s been more of a flooded bungalow.

Distinct Tony Daley or Ashley Young vibes when he gets the ball now, crowd feels something will happen.

Better crosser than Daley n'all.

Im so happy that he has found his feet at Villa.

He seems like a genuinely nice chap.

A goal every 144 minutes and should easily make double figures in the league alone now. Amazing turnaround really, he has just become entirely reliable.

Great to watch, live. Twisting and turning putting the FB on his arse. Brilliant.

Thought today was close to his best game for Villa. Didn't give them a second's rest and scored a belter.

Had no room at all for his goal and still found half a yard.

He's playing with supreme confidence now in everything he does, it's brilliant to see.

He’s been outstanding since around October I reckon. He’s a joy to watch, he’s exciting, extremely direct and his feet are mesmerising. Every time he’s cuts in he may score, but he now has that knack of looking like he will cut inside but goes on the outside and puts the ball in the box. He must be a nightmare for a fullback.

There was a bit yesterday, think it was that Diaby chance in the second half, where he turned the left back inside out, sent him to fetch the papers and waltzed past him to the by-line, just effortlessly.

Fast becoming one of my favourite players. Seems a lovely, humble guy too.

Ha ha, he’s just so ace at the moment. There was another moment when the ball was punted high and long and he just took it down on the outside of his boot as if it was the easiest skill in the world.

Full credit to Emery and the coaches for believing in him. They have handled him brilliantly. At the start of the season I watched a couple of Wolves games and I was really jealous they had Neto and that he was looking so threatening. I’d still like him here, however Bailey is another level now.

The transformation from pensive, passive and ineffective to aggressive direct and ambitious.
He is terrific.

Absolutely on fire for a while now, long may it continue.
When he’s on the ball you never know what’s going to happen but it often ends up in a goal.
