If he had a right foot he'd be unstoppable...maybe. But fair do's, probably the best, consistent super-sub we've had since Tommy "Ginge" Johnson.

Point of order. Not sure consistency is really his strong point, Sunday was about the first away game he's not been really poor and ineffective. All of his goals and assists (and indeed, good performances) have been at home this season. I think he got one assist away from home last season. Like the team as a whole, he's been fantastic when brought on at home, a bit less so, away. Sunday was a step in the right direction though.

He’s not been at his best in the league away from home. But he did well in Europe at Hibs and Alkmaar. We’ve been mostly average on the road and with that Bailey’s form flows accordingly. He’s great to bring on when our tails are up. But not the best to lift others to bring about a better collective performance. At Spurs it might the first time he helped change our fortunes away in the league.

That fancy shuffle and pass on Sunday was the clearest sign yet that his confidence is back to what it was when he first signed and tried a couple of tricks near the corner flag in, I think, his first game,

He's only going to get better.

I wonder if he's finally over the injury worry as he doesn't have to last a full game?

I was a little worried when he came off in injury time vs Canada. But thankfully it wasn’t serious. He just has a really good attitude now and we don’t hear as much from his dad. Emery has clearly sold him on a role that he has bought into.

There was an interview towards the end of last season with him where he talked about Emery being the best coach he'd ever had, but it wasn't the usual self serving platitudes you get from players and he wasn't first choice at the time, it felt like he really meant it and I think it's shining through now.

Plus, I think Emery had belief in him when others may have given up and you sense a player that wants to repay that faith.

Looks physically stronger too, still only scratching the surface with his potential really. Just get the sense that's his self belief is flaky at best but recent G&A count can only improve matters.

Yeah, there was plenty of moaning when Unai was starting him last season, even when there were stats to show we did better with him on the team.

This could be his season. He’s not had a great amount of consistent match time since his arrival. He keeps appearing and doing what we need him to. I like him too, he’s got great energy and his attitude seems strong too.

He also made the point that all the players know that if not in the team they will get minutes. A great mindset to have installed into everyone.

Kamaras suspension is now an opportunity for someone to stake a claim.

I am loving this team

Another goal (away from home).  Well played Leon.

Goal aside I thought he was a bit of a fanny today, admittedly with little ref protection.

Come on Leon toughen it up a bit.

Three months out. (Villa injuries time).

This was nonsense then

That was ironic then.
