What was his injury record for his last club like?

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/leon-bailey/verletzungen/spieler/387626

nothing much in there.

Their injury stats aren't usually very reliable. He was injured a lot more than that for us, for a start.

I know, but if you scroll through his appearance data on there it looks about right prior to him coming to us.

If we can get him right he could be a huge asset next season.  I think we forget how excited we were when he signed, he was considered to be an outstaning player and it was a coup to get him.  Whether Steve can find a system to get the best out of him remains to be seen, but we absolutely should be keeping him for now.

I’d give him a full pre-season, see how he starts next season and if he’s not up to it ship him out in the January window.

I think that there’s a player in there but completely understand other people’s attitudes towards him.

We did see that one cameo against Everplop which suggested a serious talent.

Otherwise, a real challenger to Bert for the Glassman Trophy.

I saw Bailey referee to a tampon which made me laugh. I.e. one week in then three weeks out.

Bailey is a talent. Whilst he was recruited to play in a different system, I suspect Gerrard was asked at interview how he would incorporate him into his set up. We’ve seen him try, with injuries interrupting. We should continue to persevere because he could be an extremely useful player for us.

Bailey can play striker as a false 9 so that might be where we deploy him in future. He won't press like ollie does or do the defensive work as well but he has a history of being more clinical.

A clinical history, huh? I guess he must have seeing as he's rarely fit.

Is he out for the season now with a fractured skull caused by the header?

The header was Andy Gray like.
I’m expecting him to now go from speedy glass like winger to hard as nails, high leaping front man.
