Villa

Was our last win at Watford that night game when Mark Mark Mark Delaney scored?

22 years of hurt.

I like it.

Villa every time.
However if you said England win on Sunday and we draw instead of win at Watford and as a consequence only win the league by 10 points instead of 12 I might consider it.

We live with the pain and anger of a Villa loss for a lot longer than one for England even if it happens in major final.

We're doing the league and cup double next season.

125 years of hurt.

Someone said to me they'd rather see Villa win the FA Cup than England win a tournament. I replied that I'd rather see Villa win a game than England win a tournament

I'd rather see Villa win a corner.

I don't think I've heard your opinion of England's performances so far Dave, would be interested to hear it. Have they done better than you expected?

England are whole lot easier to be in love with these days, as are The Villa.

Those that follow either or both, rain or shine, deserve every single current ray of sunshine.

Enjoy!

I remember when Southgate missed that pen years ago , for days I was as flat as the norfolk countryside but last night I had no excitement , I just couldnt get on the vibe of my mates who most have just on the bandwagon .  Yet when Villa came up thru that play off fnal . the claret n blue tears poured out , I actually went the loo so my GF couldnt see the tears .

I normally kiss every one in the room wwhen villa score including the TV and normally hit my toe on the coffee table , then I pour sweat while we try and hang on and shake like a rampant rabbit but when England scored the Pen last night , I didnt flinched .

So you can guess  Villa by a million times.

I watched the video of our players coming back to training before the match, and that excited me more in all honesty.

I want England to do well, but it doesn't come close to what I feel for the Villa.

Villa. Someone yesterday on TV was saying that hey find it unbearable watching England in tournaments and will take the dog for a walk for a few hours while the game is on. That’s me with the Villa, or was when we were languishing near the bottom. I’m over that now but my heart does beat faster when Villa play. England, I want to see do well. I like to see them perform to a standard I think they are collectively capable of. They frustrate massively with their constant underachievement. I don’t lose any sleep over them though.

Villa . I think that’s why I’m struggling with this England thing , I’m viewing everything through  a Villa prism and it’s ruining it for me .
I’m going to try and get in the mood for the final but I know as soon as I see the team sheet I’ll be full of apathy again .
