One of my favourite goals of this century.

Lescott's stupid fucking face, the absolute wanker.

I was in The Village in Moseley, me and a lad on another table going, mad in amongst confused noses that hadn't seen it because they were busy texting their mates about Lescott's equaliser.

I was in a pub (The Globe) opposite Baker Street station. There were a couple of Evertonians sat behind me. When they scored their equaliser, they came over and celebrated in front of me. When Young got the winner, I reciprocated and then some. Pretty amazed I didn’t get a kicking.

Heard Ash is going to Everton for 12 months. Great news as Evertonians can enjoy his goal as well.

You'd think he'd have wanted to go out on a high but he obviously still thinks he can do a job. I'm sure he'll get a good reception when he come back.

I'd love to know which other teams were interested and what they offered him. Luton were the only one I heard mentioned. Everton have been circling the drain for a while now, and as far as I can see, nothing has really changed behind the scenes there. Strange choice but good luck to him.

The more time passes and we're not exactly going on a transfer window trolley-dash, the more bizarre I think it was to let Ash go.

It was probably an "easy" option to get some money off the books. His contract was up, whereas we need someone to actually want to give us money for the dead weight players.

Yeah, that sounds about right. But it's so short sighted. He could have done a job for us in the Europa Conference and the domestic cups and done it with relish, I reckon.

We'll see where we are at the end of the window but yeah, at the moment I feel the same, especially when there's several players still picking up a wage who are never going to see playing time unless there's a huge injury crisis.

I thought he was the weak link in certain games last year, his lack of stature and muscle no longer offset by the pace he once had.

Gnonto had him on toast at VP a few times and he ball-watched at Brentford as Toney scored his last hurrah goal before being belatedly suspended.
