Would love to see him back at the club in a player development or coaching role.

Holding talks with Everton apparently. He can do better than that

Luton probably can't afford his wages though.

Livid when he went to United but understood it. Livid even more when he dived against us. Sorta glad when he came back. Now Im so angry he wasn't given one more season to set us on our way.

I’m not - I’m glad he got to close out his time with Villa in a positive and meaningful way.

I was listening to the match on 5Live cooking the tea. Just draining the veg as he hit the winner - up in the air it went as the lad and I bounced round the kitchen. Tea was a lttle late that night

It was ace. I watched it in my little council flat in a Chelmsley tower block. Me and the missus were jumping around the living room.

I was there. Unbelievable moment. Agony to ecstasy in an instant.

One of the most exciting games of the MON era, and definitely the best finish to one. It's weird the things you remember about games so long ago, but I distinctly remember getting frustrated when we were under the cosh as MON didn't make a single sub.  Show's how much I knew then, and how much I probably know now...

Yep, we were too. Absolute chaos in our end when he scored. It was up there with Lowton's worldie at Stoke. Limbs as the kids say.

I was in an English pub in Miami. When they equalised I went to the jacks out of annoyance, and to escape the mirth of the neutrals watching. By the time I came back Ashley had won it for us. :)
