My only worry is the number of games will start catching up with him. He's admitted himself he's not physically prepared to play every game. That said he was so important today. I can see him joining our coaching team next season. Love him.
3 more games and he gets a long rest.  Hopefully the ice bath will see him through to the WC.

After the penalty is awarded he goes and take the ball and stands on the penalty spot so they can’t psych out Ings.
That was fantastic.  He took all the shithousing and chat, protected the penalty spot from anybody feeling clever and then just throws it to Ings to smash it in.  Very intelligent from Ash.

Player of the season so far.  One thing that SG was right about is that his experience is invaluable. He's 37 and plays 90 minutes like he's 27.

Taking the ball as if he was the pen taker took the pressure off Ings and had the Goalkeeper having to have a rethink.

That is going to catch on, they'll all soon be doing it.

I was more naive than my 12 year, who got what Young was doing straight away, he said Ings will be taking this! Brilliant from Young. Ever since Man City he’s been superb.

A mate I was with had Young to score anytime so he was chuffed when he was holding the ball but less happy when he passed it to Ings. Oh, how I laughed.

Up for it from the very start, his encouragement to Bailey in the first minute when he won the corner we scored from was brilliant to see.  Love to see the players encouraging each other like that.

Not only is he still a very decent player he's a leader and skilled in the art of shithousery. A model profeshnial.
