There really isn't any downside to this.  I'm not sure why people would get too upset about having experienced versatile cover.

Its ever so funny how his name is Young, but he's old!
Also, we don't have many senior pros, so having him in and around the squad like Milner Liverpool squad place makes sense.
There aren't many senior pros like Young or Milner.

What have I done right now?
I enjoy explaining things to others in the same way that others have explained things to me when I don't understand them and as I'm not so good at explaining then SG statement echoes what I felt about an experienced pro being here.

To be fair Footy has a point.  Can’t say I agree with everything he says but he’s right in that SG has explained his decision

Do you think that there's a single person who doesn't realise that Young has been kept on for his experience or that they need that explaining?

What's  peoples partner , civil or marital status got to do with levels of understanding it?
Come now let's move to the new day.
Up the Villa eh!

We've been too nice for too long. Dean never questioned any shit decision that went against us. Gerrard does and will. And whilst our players have been booted all over the pitch without ever a card produced, as soon as we even look at an opposing player the ref is only too happy. Ashley might not offer too much attacking or defending intent these days, but to have him snarling into a referees face at the latest farcical decision...give him a day's wage.

i'm glad he's here for another 12 months.  At least we know what we are getting rather than some of the names being banded about.
