Well I still blame him for the Watford defeat at VP. He lost his man and didn't have the height to make-up for it.

He had an even bigger role in the Wolves away defeat.

But overall, I'd be happy for him to sign an extension.

Me too, good to have him around.

Needs to be involved for his antics and to frustrate say we are 1-0 up or drawing with little time to go bring him in

Apparently the Premier League just issue a statement saying who's out of contract. It doesnt mean he's left Villa yet.

Pretty sure someone said he's got an offer from us on the table. If it's thought by those more in the know than me that he's worth keeping, then fair enough. He's certainly not been the worst we've had this season, he's produced one or two bits of magic.

meant to be signing a 1 year deal. Can't really see the point.

I think keeping El Ghazi, Trezeguet would be more ideal. Great for cup outings and El Ghazi was always absolutely fantastic from the bench with some crucial goals for the Club. Great Professional

two games I seen he was running back from the opposition's goal area and he was blowing out of his arse, both times led to goals

To be fair to him, I thought he was our best player at Leicester away and I believe Gerrard sees him as part of the leadership team due to his experience. I think he will play less games if he signs and it may be the start of a transition into coaching if that‘s the way he wants to go.

Talks progressing well.
After the holidays he be one of us again and there has been some indication as future coaching role in academy development.

With a couple of exceptions he has mostly looked slow and past it when he has started games and not much better as a sub!

Agreed. Wouldn't mind seeing him as an academy coach, though.

I lost all interest in seeing him in a villa shirt again after Wolves away, the so called experienced head bickering his way through injury time and slowing the game down perfectly for them when we should have been busting a gut to get the ball back.

He was mostly rubbish.
Don’t see him as coach at all.
