Ashley used to be very 'handy' with webcams, so he does bring that experience to the table too :)

I thought Ashley Young was fine yesterday. Apart from his one very misguided header that went for a corner.
Well done Ash. Certainly showed some ability with a sumptuous cross or two and had the energy to get up the pitch.
I also feel if he's on the pitch then he should outrank McGinn as Captain.

He played well yesterday, much like he did at Leicester.

He did everything well and kept it simple. Good positioning and was in the ear of the ref a lot, which seemed to work.

Whatever type of game he has Young will also be in the refs and refs assistants ears.
The verbals he gives assistant refs just for losing a throw in decision is competitiveness personified.

Yes, he's a horrible player who doesn't respect the ref or his opponents.

Thought he had a really good game on Tuesday but with the caveat that it was against players that are 2 divisions below our normal opposition (although you wouldn't have known that for the first 30 mins).

I thought he was our best player in the cup. Last December when we got some good early results he was very important too,  mainly through knowing when to play the right pass on the break,  but vital nonetheless.  His leadership skills are miles ahead of the rest of the squad.

He's too old and slow to be anything but a very short term stop gap at right back.
