That Swindon player who blazed his penalty miles over the bar, and just turned around laughing - wtf?

Am I right in thinking that Leeds must win their game because of the goal difference?  A point won't be enough for them?
im hoping they stay up on goal differnce with a 20 odd goal swing

Harry McKirdy, ex-Villa. I think it was a nervous laugh, to be fair, but no doubt he will get plenty of stick.

Without wanting to come across all Jonathan Pearce, there's too many pitch invasions for my liking. It's ok when we do it obviously but too many dickheads having a pop at opposition players

I don't blame him really.

The pitch invasions have really got out of hand, sadly a few dickheads have to spoil it.
Looks like there was some trouble at the port Vale game as well.

To be honest, it isn't even really alright when we do it. Even if our fans are generally peaceful, the opposition players don't know that. They should be able to walk over and applaud their fans without having to run off wondering if some twat is going to thump them.

As a minimum, perhaps the league could announce that if anyone invades the pitch in playoff or cup semi/quarter finals, their team get a reduced ticket allocation for Wembley. If you keep announcing it, that might at least stop it in those sort of games.

Maybe announcing points deductions might be required.

I was being deliberately one eyed about us. You are right that it isn't really on at all. Seems to be more common or is it just the resulting incidents that are?

Not sure, tbh. I mean, obviously, it is far safer to attend games now than it was in previous decades but seems like these sort of incidents are massively on the increase. Maybe the rise of the selfie is partly to blame for the increase in pitch invasions, but not the added violence.

I wonder if stewards are instructed not to block a post match invasion but to concentrate on keeping those on the pitch away from opposing fans?

These pitch invasions are not spontaneous and joyous celebrations of something like say a last minute goal being scored; they are large and deliberate gatherings staged at the very perimeter of the pitch, with more than a hint of menace, designed by (usually) the home crowd in such a way as to intimidate officials and opposition players away from playing a game to a fair and natural conclusion. In a sense they have become a form of 'game management.'

Doesn't bear thinking about what it would be like if we ever lost a playoff semi-final at The Sty. Hopefully we are never in a position to have to worry about playoffs again.

Leeds have to better Burnley's result. They can stay up with with draw, if Burnley lose. However, if Burnley win; Dirty Leeds are down.
