Yeah, credit for that.

I didn't see it, but I assume it was Liverpool booing and Chelsea being arsey? If so, more ballast to an ABC stance. Fuck them to hell.

ABC: anyone but Chelsea

Not if it means Liverpool win the sodding Quadruple.

They won't.

They'll beat Real Madrid, so it depends on the league.

The league's gone.

It hasn't been that bad, imo. Though I'm only half watching. Chelsea should be comfortably ahead. Assume Liverpool will win it as they won't miss the chances that Chelsea have.

Agreed, thought it was decent enough. Couldn't help thinking though that the match thread would have been pretty angry if that had been our defending and missed chances.

Stuttered run ups should be banned. Especially when goalkeepers are penalised for moving an inch before the ball is kicked.

Agree 100%, those run-ups really boil my piss.

Totally agree. If it means we have to cheer for Citeh for the League and Madrid for the CL so be it as long as I never hear Sam Matterface utter the phrase "Klopp's mentality monsters " ever again.

Liverpool have now won the cup 8 times, overtaking us. What rankles is that their first win was in 1965.

It's amazing to think that with all their years of dominance they've only just overtaken us (and that it was 16 years since they last won it).

Am I right in thinking that the rule used to be that you could not stutter ,skip or generally bugger about in your run up when taking a penalty and if  so when did it change ? Or is it just an old bloke getting it wrong?

Someone like Mr. Shelley will probably correct me but I think you've always had to have a continuous forward motion. I seem to recall John Aldridge doing something similar back in the day but it does seem to have got worse.

IIRC stopping during the run-up was decreed unacceptable in the late eighties early nineties and again, IIRC the kick was retaken.  As I say IIRC.  I never saw it adhered to and it seemed to die a natural death.

Today, it's called feinting and the law states that you can legaly feint on the run-up but once the run-up is completed feinting is not allowed.

IMO, it should be outlawed in its entirity because I think it isn't playing within the spirit of the laws.

I'm not a fan of GSTQ but I'd just stay silent. Did they also boo 'Abide with Me' as reported?

Playing it on a day that other games are being played, playing it before the end of the season, kicking off at 4.45pmÖ.the corporate scum that is the FA get the poor, dull final they deserve.

Yes all this spoils it completely. They donít even call it the FA Cup half the time anymore, to scared to drop the sponsor when referring to it.

The FA know the price of everything but the value of nothing.

According to irate Chelsea fans on social media yes they did. This seems to have annoyed a lot of people, but not as much as booing GSTQ.
