Newcastle, Burnley, Leeds. Imagine that!
Would be the perfect relegation trio
Not really

The perfect relegation trio would be Manchester Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal

I'd much prefer Man City, Chelsea, Tottenham, Leeds or Newcastle to Arsenal.

Newcastle winless going into December. Shame.

That's worse than us in 15/16 right?
We had fewer points (5) but had won a game albeit on the opening day.

I remember we lost a six-pointer at home to Watford at the end of November. Pat Murphy reported on it for 5Live in ominous tones and I think we all got the fear a little bit more that day.

I was at that match and said to my lad that the signs were ominous and I felt we wouldn't survive this time.  It just got worse.  I recall Micah Richards scored, ran almost the length of the pitch and no one celebrated with him.  Also, we saw the two worst goalkeepers in the Premier League on the pitch at the same time.

Valid case to be made for all of the above. I put Arsenal in as it would be century old justice if they finally relinquish their place in the top flight that they nicked.

The perfect realistic relegation trio is Burnley,  Leeds and Newcastle.

Obviously if you can pick any teams then Manure would be in there.

Then anyone from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Cit€h, Tottingham Hotspurs

Brentford v Everton

Two poor sides playing poor football in a poor game. I'm quite enjoying Brentfords reality check of late after the sneering, brainless comments on their message boards after they played us "Ooh I don't see anything to be scared of in this league" type crap and how much they hate our fans - probably because we had the cheek to celebrate scoring against them which I must admit is very unreasonable of us. I'm sure Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City were absolutely shitting themselves about playing them.

Nathan Baker stretchered off in a neck brace with a head injury during Bristol City's match at Sheff Utd. Hope he's OK

Toney is having a good game, in front of Gareth Southgate.  Everton should have been given a penalty there, for shirt holding on Rondon, but no-one even appealed, it's as if shirt pulling in the penalty area by defenders is generally no longer considered to be a foul.

I know they have some players out on long-term but they really are a poor side. It's one of sports great and inexplicable mysteries that they've never been relegated.

They were relegated in 1951.
