Commentator on the Man U game "Terrible end to the match"

Don't you mean absolutely marvellous?

Did they really say that?

If Man Utd were playing War Crimes'R'Us Khmer Rouge Idi Amin Piers Morgan Third Reich Juniors FC I'd still want Man Utd to lose.

Sounds like Young Boys absolutely battered Manure and finally got a fully deserved late winner

Louie Barry starting tonight for Ipswich Town.
How'd he get on?

Can't see how this loan move is in any way conducive to either Barry or Villa. He's played what,68 league mins and about that last night. The team is fucking useless and yet to win.Bring him back.

A cursory glance at an Ipswich forum when he signed revealed that they have loads of forwards and were unsure how he would fit in. Doesn't seem the most well thought out move.

Or, maybe, he's just not that good.

We should bring young Barry back and then offer him on loan to West Brom  ;D ;D

Heís obviously very skillful, but physically he looks about 14, which is what I suspect is holding him back. Compare him to Ramsey who didnít look out of place at all playing against Barrow.

I'll be honest and say I haven't seen a great deal of him but of what I have and the goal against Liverpool in the cup apart I'd say he's okay but nothing special.  Someone mentioned that there are a lot of forwards at Ipswich vying for a team place, if that's the case and he can't put himself to the front of the queue then his actual ability or what Ipswich are looking for, or his attitude, or, something else is holding him back. it may just be a case of, "is this player an improvement on what we've already got?" And, as others have stated, Ipswich might not be the loan he needs to develop him further.

Well, we aren't going to find out unless he plays occasionally. Every indication has been that he is very promising indeed.

Well I think he's special.Magically special.
And I don't want his career mismanaged or curtailed because he's deigned "not big enough" or "outmuscled" etc..It's this thinking that has held back British football for 50' years

Exactly, that Messi fellow did okay despite his diminutive stature.
