Boxing Day fixtures are arranged to be as localised as possible, so a northern club will never play a southern club.Last day of the season, the so called big '6' never play each other.Clubs will never start the season or finish the season with 2 home games or with 2 away games.
First game: Southampton (a)

Regarding the second one, there is nothing in black and white, but I can't remember the last time that happened and I always take a point at looking at the last day fixtures.
My memory isn’t the best but I certainly remember going to Swansea on a Boxing Day fairly recently. That’s another country, let alone not local.
