That one doesn't include player sales as far as I'm aware.

Aston Villa part ways with chief operating officer Ben Hatton

Hatton joined Villa in September 2023, having worked at Manchester United, AS Roma and, most recently, as managing director at Blackpool.

He was recruited under former president of business operations, Chris Heck, who left for LIV Golf last May. Heck appointed Hatton as part of his senior leadership team and worked together across two seasons as the club benefited from Unai Emery’s side’s on-pitch success, securing Champions League qualification for the first time.

Francesco Calvo subsequently replaced Heck, with Hatton continuing in his position during the 2025-26 campaign. However, Villa and Hatton have now parted ways.

Hatton’s remit was to oversee several functions within the club. Among those were retail, security, Villa Park operations, ticketing, concerts and Villa Park events.

Breaking - UEFA qualifiers will NOT be restricted to 70% under the new Premier League Squad Cost Ration (SCR).

ALL clubs will be required to adhere to the 85% Premier League cap. Any UEFA overspend above its version of SCR (70%) will be dealt with by UEFA.

In our case, probably the biggest fine ever given out (again) a 5 year transfer ban and expulsion from all European competitions for 10 years.

How is this breaking news we knew this months ago. It also makes no sense in my view the only clubs utilising the 85% rule will be those who definitely won’t be in Europe. If you have any pretensions of qualifying and then playing in  Europe then you’ll just work to the 70% otherwise you’ll just be put straight into UEFA sanction as we’ve found out.
