Wes Edens and Nas Sawiris have filed at companies house that they are no longer people of control over NSWE UK limited which owns the club. I'm not sure what this means specifically but effectively an individual's ownership is now under 25%. Perhaps some new investment has come in?

How much money do you think the stadium owner actually gets from a gig? I bet it is relatively small percentage of the total ticket sales. The promoter is taking all the risk so they, and the artists, get the lion’s share. Maybe the club would get a bigger share of premium tickets like boxes or hospitality etc. but people are talking here as though we’d be taking all the money.

It is not explicitly stated within their accounts but most analysts put the additional non football events revenue at ~£60m from 16 events.

Haringey council have not long approved a request to increase to 30 events per year so Spurs will be looking at ~£120m non football events revenue per year.

How on earth do you know what his tours are called?

I like to do a little bit of research to support my arguments.

That'll never catch on.

We talk about desperate to raise revenue yet despite knowing for over a year that we would need to replace Betano we still have not done so.  Somebody is not doing their job.  £15m we cannot afford to lose.  Quite apart from the fact the kit launch ship has sailed.

They could be waiting to announce the deal until after the World Cup is done to gain maximum publicity, probably coinciding with the launch of the new away kit.

Yeah, that was my thoughts - couldn’t announce anything till the Betano stuff expired on 01/07 (?), but it’s mid World Cup and they don’t want it to get lost in that noise.

And they have two new kit launches left to do, so you’d imagine they’d use one of those, too.

The sponsorship market has been very competitive this summer, and as a club who will want a higher amount than most, we are working with a smaller pool of possible partners.

Ideally it would all have been tied up by now, but I can see why it has been a more drawn out process than usual.

I'm not sure how not getting a shirt sponsor announced on 1st July means we have lost £15mil for the season.

I don’t think the date is a thing. We announced Betano on 22nd April.
