I saw The Horne Section play a few weeks ago. They were excellent.

Yep, how much of a Premier League clubs TV revenue comes from Sky, who constantly advertise their gambling products through every match?

The front of shirt is just a drop in the sea.

Sky sold their last stake in Sky Bet in 2018. The brand was just retained but I get the point.

And I bet you weren't looking at Alex thinking 'that's a slim Rory'. He looks nowt like him!

Only time I've heard them live was at the Chicken V Egg match for a bit. Where did you see them? I've completely missed that.

Listen pork features you’ll accept the fat taunts in the spirit they were intended. I just looked at the photo and saw Alex Horne but jowlier.

'Jowlier'? This gets worse!

I believe it's a Black Country phrase that means 'sexier'.

Spurs make a fortune off that stadium. It’s just an asset they sweat for totally non-footballing purposes. The spend on building it didn’t count towards any of their FFP (etc) metrics either. So what is stopping us just bolting on other businesses to the club. Villa could buy Cadburys or Adidas or any other business and just add their turnover to ours. And we could borrow to do it too.

^^ I haven’t looked into it, but I would think that allowable revenue has to be football related, and that income generated from your football premises counts, while profits from businesses in other sectors probably wouldn’t.

This is probably covered by UEFA’s FER - the first two letters of which stand for football earnings.

I think you are right as i am sure that the Ozzy and other concerts were a factor in our improved turnover in recent seasons.

Those concerts proved that Birmingham's location is an excellent draw for mega bands - its a pity the North Stand being out of action means we cannot have any this year of next.
