Thanks. I'll see what happens with this Tottenham malarkey, then.

Nothing will be my guess

Nothing would have happened to us, apart from the incoming money not being SCR positive. That probably wouldn’t affect Tottenham.

Football doesn’t need SCR. A couple of clubs going under shouldn’t govern what owners should spend on the business they bought. Right now the revenue based rules eliminates every club that cannot generate football revenues that specific clubs pre rules were able to generate. Legitimately or not.

Taxpayers provided the stadium, I thought? They are mainly just postcode lottery wankers,  and it's incredible how they have managed to be so consistently shit despite being afforded every possible advantage.

How many threads can we get Spurs transfer news on - it’s like it’s a challenge.

Did taxpayers pay for their stadium??

They took out loans for most of it. But they got £30 million from London Mayor's office, £70 million from UK government and, bizarrely, £5 million from the Premier League. The same shitebag Premier League that refused to relegate them when they broke the same rules that Swindon were relegated for.

Let’s hope they repeal them eh? And, fingers crossed, not too many of the 99% of clubs worse off than us overtake, or our CL days may be over. But at least the rules will be fair.

Clubs that generate the most money usually spend the most money. It's been that way for the 50 odd years i've been following Villa.

Ah, but Spurs though. How come they're allowed to spend money just because they've generated loads of it?

Yes. We would all have hated Villa up to the 1930s.
