Well done. Lewandowski great header

He's now got 67 international goals. One more and he'll have equalled the great Robbie Keane's tally.

He’s no Robbie, my friend 👍

Well, he is a 'Robbie' but I know what you mean. :)

Nearly 20 more games than Lewandowski is on though, whose record is better than one in two. Mental.

VAR farce yet again.  The referee books the Polish player to validate his decision.  Missed the penalty.  Good.  Crap decision in the first place.
but we all know when it comes to penalties that level of consistency has never been applied.
If it is there will never be another 0-0

If that was on the half way line it’s a free kick? So in the box it’s a pen? Or am I missing something, makes no difference if the ball has been played. Or am I wrong?

I totally agree Gary. It is always going to look bad in slow motion.  They need to play the whole event in normal time.

I know they’re a “new” Spain side and all relatively young but they’re very clumsy aren’t they?

Since qualifying for the 2008 European Championship finals, Spain have played 27 matches at major tournaments and scored more than 1 goal in a game just nine of them. They have also won a Euros and a World Cup during that time.

Me too until I realise how they have changed the game. Southgate thought he could go the 'Portugal way' and bore our way to the final. Germany obviously watch a lot of Premier League, as do Italy.

England seem to have managed it five times out of 27 (28 if you include the third place play off at the World Cup) in that time (against Sweden in 2012, Wales in 2016, Tunisia, Panama and Sweden in 2018).

The Villa Park vaccination hub is open all day today for anyone over 18. No appointment is necessary. Please pass this around and encourage all those not vaccinated so far to use this facility if they can.

I think the problem with Kane and many others is that Southgate has managed to get them all calm and level, just like him. There's no passion or drive and no laziness either; solid, safe, risk-averse and uninspiring.

His quote was something like 'of you can't win, then at least get a draw'. He sets his teams up though like Steve Bruce, get a draw and a win is a bonus.

We dont want a nice guy manager who wins fuck all. Much rather have a manager who snorts coke off  hookers tits but at least wins things.
