Yes Damo, theyíre nothing special and given how poor Austria are they should be well ahead.

Dutch haven't been brilliant but they haven't really had to be. Frenkie de Jong has been excellent, Dumfries will cause problems for anyone and De Ligt has made them look stronger at the back, I'm not a fan of De Vrij though and Ake looks lost

Jon Pearce keeps mentioning World Soccer magazine. I thought it had stopped publishing years ago? I absolutely loved it in the 80s. With writer like Keir Radnedge, Patrick Barclay and Brian Glanville it was a superb read. Never seen it on mag shelves of late so where can I buy it?

It's sold in a few shops or you can subscribe. I have the Euros special. I only buy it before major tournaments, big famewhore that I am.
Thanks CD. I will go and find it.
It's still quite a good read, and much better than a lot of football magazines. It's readily available at many branches of WH Smith.

Is he throwing darts in lover's eyes?

I think this group is possibly the weakest of all. The Dutch are ok, but are benefiting from a favourable draw.

He's waiting for the gift of Schlager's vision.

The Austrian coach looks like the lovechild of Alan Rickman and Tim Allen.

Other than group F I don't think the top seeds in any group have any excuses to not get through comfortably.

And as Lineker has pretty much just said, Austria and Ukraine will now play out a draw in the last group game to ensure that both go through to the knock out stage.

One thing I do like about watching the Dutch - that there is a clear understanding between their fans that, if you're going to the stadium, you better bloody well wear orange. It makes the stands look so good to see a block of colour.

I generally like dutch football fans, of all the countries I work with they're the ones that seem most commonly to give a shit about clubs outside the top 6 in England. Specific to the guys at our office they're also pretty good at talking about players in their league that would be a good fit for us which I like, it's a big part of why i normally know of a couple of players in the Dutch league that I like.

The baldy bastard Pele from the Scotland/Czech game to play shite

Lev sodding Yashin from the Scotland/Czech game to chuck at least one in

England to win easily
