Hes a talent, and will be a shame to lose him

Strange situation - were too good to give him starts in our games as they all matter, but too shite to have the games that better teams can offer him

But as has been said - we cant really complain - as we have been nicking youth talent since NWSE can in

They need to get him tied down and out on loan.

If he thinks he can sign for a CL team and get game time, he's deluded. They'll just loan him out.

Would they? Sancho was younger than Chukwuemeka when Dortmund stuck him straight in the first team squad. Harvey Elliot started a Champions League knock-out game for Liverpool last season and is six months older.

Bellingham is four months older, is now Dortmund's most valuable player by a mile, and has been a first team player for a Champions League side for two years.

The most likely answer is he's not as good as any of them. But on the other hand if we think (and more importantly for this question, if he thinks) differently then you can hardly blame him for thinking that a Leipzig or a Porto might just take a punt, stick him in and build a team around him.

You would have thought it would be wrapped up by now if he was staying.

If the hold up on new contract is due to......

Wanted guaranteed game time - he has to learn to earn it - 4 year contract and loan to a Championship side for 6 months

Silly Money - off you go as we will not be held to ransom

Poorly advised by agent - bin them off

He still has 12 months left on his contract, buyers either need to show some serious money or piss off. I'd rather he stays for another season and spends it with the U12s than give him away for peanuts.

He's done absolutely nothing to justify a start for the first team.  I hope he stays and he becomes brilliant but he's got a long way to go before he earns a starting place for Villa as far as I'm concerned.
