I think he looks as good, if not better, than Ramsey did in his early cameos.  If he has a similar trajectory in the next 18 months, I'll be very happy.

He's not 'busy', but I don't mind that if it's not his natural game, but he looks technically very good, and getting bigger and stronger, so if we can get him to sign a contract I'd love to see a three-man midfield at some point next season of him, JJ and Tim.

In the youth games I've watched he has a habit of never looking like he's going all out but always being where he needs to be, when he needs to be there. He's not replicated that fully for the senior team yet but if he can he'll be a very good player.

Below average. Didn't do very much at all and was rightly subbed early in the second half. He's not ready to be starting games, despite what his agent might be telling him. He's got ability but needs a loan away, but if he doesn't want that then just sell him.

Gave the ball away four times in the first-half. Championship player at best. Sell.

If he’s smart he’ll realise from today, starting against a struggling side, that he’s not ready yet and to trust in the development path the club clearly have laid out. It worked for Joe, it worked for Ramsey. If he’s not prepared to follow that programme then I agree with Risso; sell him. Insert a 50% sell on clause whilst doing it.

That’s valuable experience for the lad. Without these opportunities how is he supposed to get experience in this league or our team? He’s not out on loan, he’s here and it was the perfect chance to give him a run out.

Keep.
Picked up invaluable experience being in a around things this season.
If he was a couple of years older then it might be the option to sell but at 18 I think it would be a mistake to sell someone who clearly has talent.
His progress might mirror Ramsays next season so I'd be patient and see how he goes.

I thought Tim was more impressive when given his chance.

If he signs a new contract, he needs to go out on loan to a Championship / Division 1 club

Last nights ‘tourist’ sat behind me did nothing but moan and slag him off….apparently he is ‘dog shit’ as a player….he’s 18 making his second start FFS.  Some of our fans beggar belief sometimes….makes me even more pleased that the likes of Archer have gone out on loan to make an impact rather than the geniuses writing them off before they’ve hardly had a chance.

Hopefully he signs the contract, has a good summer & preseason building up like Ramsey did last year, perhaps has first half of next season on loan to play games.

I thought it was excellent management yesterday. They gave him a start and to be honest, he wasn't great so took him off so made the point that 'you ain't all that sunshine'. Hopefully it will help ground him that presently, he is a great prospect and nothing else. Hoping he signs a contract and gets much needed time out on loan.

I think people would if he cut the f*cking big time attitude, appreciate where he's at and sign a new deal

Got to be honest, I saw no different to his debut v Brentford and so my opinion is still the same, he isn't anywhere near ready. He's miles off what Ramsey was doing last year in his break through season. Also, we as a club need to realise that we aren't the man city development team. We need to do things at our pace, not rushing them through so can clear off sooner. He needs to sign a deal and go out on loan and ones he's proved he's ready we cam integrate him properly from the bench with the view to getting him in the first team if he's good enough.
