I will be muting Emmanuel Petit and some lady on RMC Sports. Who gives a fuck what you think about that half?

Of late, we have 3 players that don’t contribute. My top 3 picks so far are Barkley, Traore and El Ghazi.
My top 3 are Barkley, Barkley and Barkley.

Come on, didn't you see how he stood over the free kick taken by Targett? Stuff like that you can't learn.

Anyway, on the plus side, got a nice refurbed Quad power amp today, lovely stuff. XTC can be the commentary 2nd half 😀

Very nice bit of kit, I love Quad stuff.

Yep, I've a power amp, the 405-2..

Not a bad performance, Everton haven't looked up to much but we're lacking that Watkins energy and cutting edge up front. We've been progressive with the ball. Think Everton have come for a point and to nick one on the break.

Barkley has found himself in so many good positions, and messed up pretty much every single one. I can't decide without looking back if this means Everton are too open and the game is there for the taking if we swap him out, or if he's actually doing well to get into the positions in the first place and just fucking up the execution.

Andy Hinchcliffe is worse, trust me

Jack will tear this lot a new one second half, when we finally have someone capable of passing to our front man.

Overall a good half for me that.

I just think we're so much better than Everton in terms of working the ball around the pitch but then you look at the league table and they're still well clear of us so dunno but guess they've got more resilience?

Kept their tricky forward players very quiet yet again and generally dominated, think McGinn has been excellent in all areas so he's warming up nicely for the euros.

Not a great half from Davis, we certainly need a new forward in the summer just in case we lose Ollie for a few months next season. He has the right idea but rushes things and his general passing simply isn't that good. Traore back to his random self aswell.

AEM aswell for games v Spurs and Chelsea...yikes.

Can we just call this one 0-0 and show highlights of our away game with Everton in the remaining time we have allocated by sky instead?

I reckon Hinchcliffe would be more tolerable in French.

Thought we were OK in a low-key half. Thought John McGinn was excellent. Ross Barclay so, so poor though.
Perfect summation

when DS is saying they have to earn the right to be in the first 11 , well Barkley hasnt and he is not even our player..  We are not going down and we are not getting into europe and he might well have thrown Carney in for a bit of experience because at least this lad has earned his right lookinng at his performances in the U23 etc.

Barkley as been fcooking awful even against his old team where he should be up for it.
