They've scarcely acknowledged that we are playing.

To be fair the story is all about them today. Which is fine by me providing we make sure the story doesn't have a happy ending for them at the end of the day.

Good half from us after a shaky first 10 minutes. Unbelievable goal too.

Still a bit nervous about the freedom being afforded to Shaw though.

Dean will sort that. Need Trez

I think both Barkley and El Ghazi could be more involved.

I fucking knew we would get the first card

To be fair it was a pretty crap challenge but at least McGuire knows he’s there now!

Not really any worse than 3-4 by them that the ref didn't even warn them over. More importantly most of their fouls have been professional fouls to stop us counter-attacking and they'll just keep doing it so long as the ref doesn't give a shit.

A pretty good half. I was purring over the move just before halftime where Bert put the cross just over Anwar's head. God knows how many passes led to that, but it seemed like we moved it around for about 5 minutes before Cash spotted the opening to carry it 30 yards upfield.  Play like that always feels like something other teams do, so love to see it!

It looked a foul on Nicky Morgan to me. Wasn't surprised to see the yellow.

Half time.  Listen to Lescott and Deeney?  Or go peel some vegetables for dinner?

Peeling vegetables or listening to them. Tough choice

We've done well.

When Traore is properly on it he's a delight to watch.

Can't help feeling this ref is going to give them something at some point. He wasn't going to blow up until Ez stayed down and yes Fernandes is very annoying in the world owes him a living type way, certain yellow with him leading with his elbow.

Just looking at their bench and Cavani aside they haven't actually got that much to change attacking wise (mind you neither have we!) so just go to keep our shape and hopefully someone like Nakamba can come on for last 20 and close it out.

Good to see we're really fighting to finish top half again.

He squealed and looked tearful to be fair. Ollie’s probably lucky not to be off.

Somehow I’ve got Gabby as the half time pundit and predictably he say Villa by far the best side and want it more than Yanited

Listening to Stan Petrov’s voice at HT is sweet, sweet medicine after all he went through and fought through. A born winner

Agreed. On a not unconnected note, does anyone know if the result of this game will affect the timing of Man. City winning the title? I don't believe they've mentioned it yet...
