If he's got anything about him he should be apologising. The Villa players around the incident couldn't believe what he'd done.

Dougs was a football error. The two penalties we were denied are cheating by the VAR officials. Again, against Man U

I'm getting sick and fucking tired of handing Yanited 3 points on a plate whenever they come to Villa Park. Sick and fucking tired of it.

It’s taken 30 years to get to this stage? It was boring after year 5.

It’s shit there is no doubting it. But the next version of Aston Villa needs to be one that takes points off Man City or Man U. We’ve done it against most of the others this season which in of itself is remarkable a year after we just stayed up.

Pitiful refereeing aside, we've collapsed in that 2nd half. It was a terrible performance.

Yeah because it's competitive being pissed off and you obviously win. Congratulations.

"That should have been stamped out of his game when he was a teenager"  said Souness

I'll repeat shameful.

Watkins did look for it - and there was no contact.

As I see it, he either gets out of the way to avoid contact and he was impeded.. or he takes 8 metal studs to the knee.

I know what I’d prefer.
I don't think it was a penalty, but I don't think he warranted a yellow either. Sometimes players just fall in taking evasive action

If ever anyone was an authority on stamping, it was Souness
