I realised I stopped liking shirts when they started making them out of plastic.

I stopped liking them when we went through that phase of having betting companies plastered across the front of them.

I rarely buy them although I just did buy this seasons. They're being sold off for £17 now in the club shop.

Arse’s new away shirt (if the leaks are correct) just has the cannon instead of the whole crest. We really should look at just having the lion on ours.

100%

Eventually I think that's what it will be for most clubs. Full crest for the media and embroidered mascot on the kit.

Looks so much better. Compare Liverpool's shirts with the full crest to now. Spurs as well.

Are we ever going to hear anything about this from the club? Have the current owners spoke about it?

Something like this, but without the AV

Yes. Just the same lion from the crest.

The lion on the classic 80s badge was better as it looked like the proper Scottish Lion Rampant, which is what it is supposed to be.

The current Villa lion looks like he's more likely to maul a cake than a gazelle. It's rubbish.

Current fashion is to strip back club badges back to very minimal designs. Spurs being a good example.

A rampant lion, with “The Villa” underneath. Better than just AVFC.

The rampant lion with Prepared  under it would be even better.

I've never liked that motto.

It’s worked when we have been. Which since we won the European Cup has been only short spells under Ron, Sir Brian, JG and MON. And a bit now under Dean. But other that we’ve been anything but.

Hopefully at some point we'll be able to change it to Repaired.

I have not and will not buy a Shirt with the current badge on , it is horrendous.

Adidas shirt with the 80s crest would be a huge hit with the fans and would be a bit of a statement .Would sell thousands of them and the Village would not be able to cope with the Demand

I actually owned an original Harry Hampton shirt crest like that  he was given but gave it away to a mate...

Can we take this as a resignation from buying the shirts?
