Have a look at everyone's first ever kit. They're all weird and should bear no relation to the "proper" kits which get established over time.

I don't actually mind if we break the rule as a one-off for the 150th anniversary, but... that isn't yet.
I’ve got to agree  the home shirt should always be claret body with blue arms, white shorts, blue socks. I like the current collection and would be happy to stick with Kappa. I didn’t like Hummel or Umbro to be honest but would look at what Adidas had to offer.

Someone not involved in murdering animals for "sport", please. That aside, kind of prefer the smaller names as you feel like they give more of a shit. Whereas, say, Nike, just consider you another item in their catalogue, barely worth a mention on the website.

Gola, Bull Boys or Cica for me. Possibly Hi-Tec. Maybe Dunlop.

Maybe Sergio Georgini could be tempted into sportswear? We are very wealthy.

I love my old Nike hoodie. Just plain grey with the smallest rampaging Villa lion embroidered onto the sleeve in a slightly darker shade of grey and a small white tick embroidered on the breast. It’s a bit worn now and we have never produced anything like it since. I’m not a fan of huge emblems or logos.

I did like those Nike kits when we had Acorns on the front.

It's sort of unusual that we never had Adidas. I liked umbro, Reebok and Nike the best and didn't care much for the others, especially macron and Hummel. Diadora had one nice kit and one dreadful kit. Kappa are about mid-table, this year's is nice (but it's no 92/93 or 95/97).

Did you buy it at the covered market?

Great shout. I used to love their tailored pop socks.

How could anyone not like those beautiful Umbro kits from the 1970's?

Moore? He is covered in that Stefan article I posted.

Oh, Roper. Well, he's the only kit designer of the Villa whose shirts sold-out completely (home, promotion-winning season).
