I was disappointed to lose him and am glad he's back. I hope we can give him the minutes he needs to develop.I've got mixed feelings about the process, it seemed daft to me at the time (however much he wanted a move) and I guess it's cost us a tidy packet and big future sell-on clause to effectively loan a player out for a year. (Nobody will persuade me that getting in £5m to amortise £13m out over 5 years is good business). But the main thing is we have a very promising and confident youngster back on the books. Good luck JPB.

I have to admit that I am confused by the whole process too & cant even begin to start understanding the math around the accounting. No doubt we will hear all about the benefits for Hull from their owner at some point though. Even if he does ignore the benefits & clauses that suit Villa...But like you said, its great to have him back & hopefully he proves to be the player that a lot of us thought he could be before he left.

Has he dropped the ‘Bidace’?
