funny that JP will have been with us for pre season in the US last summer and will be this, with an entirely different club in the 12 months or so in between.

Wasn't the lost £5m (30%) happening regardless of where he went?

Allow me to introduce you to the Missing Dollar riddle.

When I see numbers spoken or written out like that riddle, I swear it busts a fuse in my head & I cannot compute the information given to me, never mind how to work out the riddle/math problem...

I was disappointed to lose him and am glad he's back.  I hope we can give him the minutes he needs to develop.

I've got mixed feelings about the process, it seemed daft to me at the time (however much he wanted a move) and I guess it's cost us a tidy packet and big future sell-on clause to effectively loan a player out for a year.  (Nobody will persuade me that getting in £5m to amortise £13m out over 5 years is good business).   But the main thing is we have a very promising and confident youngster back on the books.

Good luck JPB.
