Agree with all of that. Would like to finish ahead of Arsenal and Leeds but if we get nothing from the next 2 games it might well be worth blooding some of the youngsters.

i think for me, the benchmark is now finishing above Arsenal. European qualification is still up for grabs, but I think unlikely. I obviously realise that they’ve gone backwards a bit, but to finish above an aresenal side of whatever vintage is the mark of a pretty good season.

Would like to see us keep mixing it up with player selections and tactics too. Strong case to say that Davis, Trez and Ramsey did enough to all warrant starts against Liverpool. Why not go with a 4-4-2 to make us a bit less predictable and give Koop something to think about?

A good read Dave. Agree with the idea of playing Davis and Ollie together, at least until Jacks back. Don’t think the 433 has been working since he’s been injured. Ever the delusional, I would like hold off blooding the youngsters until European qualification looks completely unlikely

Have to agree with giving Davis, Trez and Ramsey a start v LiVARpool. Cannot understand why Smith hasn't played young Barry whilst Jack has been injured. I think he'd make the perfect cover.
