Spurs aren't very good. Any half decent team would get back into this.

All the same issues that we have had in the previous games, no drive, no movement, no pace, slugish, slow, no invention. We do nothing different. Boring as fuck. Smith has no clue how to change it round either, other than waiting for Jack to return. Naff management tbh. SO what would you do to change it then, mastermind ?

Getting worse by the week coming forward, sadly. The final ball tonight has been amateur and there is no cohesion at all. It is disappointing given all the verve and invention we saw early on in the season. It isn't just about a lack of Jack but it obviously doesn't help.

Looks like the season will peter out. Reminds me a bit of O'Neill's first season and going back further, Big Ron's. We had similar runs then at this time of year with goals drying up.

I think it's been effective in we're winning plenty of free kicks around the box due to how clueless Sanchez is at defending. Arsenal used it as a tactic last week aswell.

Can't get over how bad our set pieces are. Should have Targett on the corners and just leave one of the midfielders back as he's hit in some nice free kicks.

It just astounds me that trezeguet is playing football for a premier league football team.
To me, he’s that bloke at work who normally plays rugby, but agrees to make the numbers up for a 5 aside team.
Head down, charge and roll around on the floor.

He has to hook either Trez or Bert, surely?

AEG for one of them is the most likely change. But we urgently require a change of shape.

Hell of a summer coming up for us. We could seriously be a Sheffield United if we don't get our recruitment absolutely spot on.

Hysterical.

In what way is that hysterical. Crap since NY’s day

Think Spurs have been awful all over the pitch myself, we've just been very lacking in the final third. Wouldn't mind seeing a diamond as our best width comes from Targett and Cash, but I don't think we'll see a change of shape mid game.

Sanson out of position, Trez out of his depth. AEG and Barkely for me. Still well within the game and find the reactions on here baffling.

Agree with all that. We need a final ball

I hope that was not our good half
zero shots
Trarore, can we get our money back ?
Why do we keep on playing back to Martinez, at one point we went from being well in their half to , side wards, backwards and Martinez then hoofing out for a throw to them.
Midfield, nobody can hold the ball and push forward. Sanson seems anther tippy, tippy player.
I try not to post on the match thread as you can get carried away, but we have seen some real crap served up in the last few weeks.
Not sure who could come on to change it
But please hoike Trarore for the 2nd half

Davis and AEG for Traore and Trez.

That way we can hold it up and have someone who likes to fucking shoot.

The only positive so far is that it was a 7:30 kick off, rather than 8:00. Means I can get to bed a bit earlier.

Watching that goal back, Cash was dreadful for it. Terrible clearance from Martinez too obviously but Cash doesn't track Moura from the first play.

Plus he was waiting for the ball while Moura ran to it.

You can’t keep playing 4-3-3 when your wingers are as piss poor as Trez and Traore.
substitute them both now

Or don’t employ the same wingers who have disappointed for weeks. Try something different. Davis to start with Ollie for example
