One of the goals posts and the cross bar have been removed and the blue and yellow monster Gottwald crane is being dismantled - presumably off to another job.

All the other biggish cranes seem to have gone from behind the stand

So how and when is the remaining goalpost going to be removed?

I imagined the huge Gottwald would have been used to take that one down too.

Also, where has the first goalpost gone? Can't imagine Aston Scrap Metal Dealers Ltd have nipped round already.

I can only suggest that to reach the second goal post, the boom would have had to be well lowered , and the stand would have been in the way and Prevented this. This would have required the crane to be dismantled, moved, and re-erected. This is obviously a big job. Quicker and easier to use a smaller crane Once the Gottwald is off site. A small crane can be parked closer, and the goal post removed a small section at a time.

That was my conclusion too. If they cut the goalpost down in sections, obviously from the top down, then a lighter mobile crane could be used.

It was on the ground next to the crossbeam in one of the videos.
