Big Fat Ron's first game away at Sheffield Wednesday. Police boarded the coaches on the edge of Sheffield and turned them around and sent them back to Brum. No explanation given. It was like they hadn't learnt from the Hillsborough disaster one iota.

The new pitch is being grown elsewhere by all accounts

Yeah, anyone panicking should be aware, the pitch isn't actually grown in-situ.

I'd have thought seats would be in the UT by now, but I assume it's all going to plan.

Being pissed up at barely 1pm, drinking from cans and giving Plod a load of abuse didn't exactly help either.

Yeah, that probably wouldn't have helped, but there was none of that going on on our coach. We ended up getting off the coach and getting a taxi to the ground. We ended up standing on the terraced area at the corner of Leppings Lane.

I was on the Train special that arrived late and we got shoved up there as well.

Was reliably informed late last season that our new pitch was already sunning itself out Lincolnshire way somewhere.

Not Villa Park, but seems as good a thread as any.

Saw the inside of the new Everton ground yesterday on telly
looks no different from Leicester’s stadium carbon copy of everything else that’s been built,
 absolute shit
