There’s been no movement of season ticket holders in the lower Trinity. Might happen next close season. The original NS plans had big changes to the Middle Trinity.

I think you are both right. PWS is on about the North Stand, you are on about the Trinity based on the after picture. I would have thought that would have needed planning permissions to do as well.

I thought he was replying to me and I was specifically addressing Ads’ Q by saying these extra seats are coming from the Trinity!

They appear to be removing walkway from between middle and lower Trinity

This years work takes us to 43,254. The North redevelopment increases us to 48,809 by 2027, however there appears to be additional plans to take us to 50,000 for 2026. I guess that's a realignment of other places.

Ah good spot! Making it effectively 2 tiers. Clever.

For the plebs seats in the Trinity there is no reason for the two entrances as they both go into the same concourse. So getting rid of the higher ones could give them plenty of extra seats.

The Corner Flag is gone but there’s a huge extension of capacity and it makes sense.
VP needs to be bigger.

And,
I remember sitting in TCF restaurant with my Dad and the family for his 70th birthday on May 31, 2000 and seeing the old Trinity Road being demolished right in front of our eyes, starting from the far end…

Could well be a safety reason. X amount of entrances for x amount of people.

Also, could they be moving the tunnel into the corner there in that pic? That would make room for a few more seats as well.

I don’t see how you can remove that gangway in between the lower and middle Trinity - How would wheelchair users get to their spots?

I think it’s just that the focus of that picture is The North Stand and there’s no accuracy of the faded Trinity in the background.

They're being moved elsewhere. A lot of qheelchair access is being put in in other specs.

Yes Trinity accuracy is not there but I think it appears a deliberate change, if not why would they show the noticeable change in the second sketch?

Part of the changes in the other stands is to put wheelchair access spots in the Witton and Holte areas. Might be pre-emptive if they are removing that gangway rather then being nice and extending extra seats.

I know there’s a lot of negativity about the changes and moves, but it really is great to see the club putting more wheelchair spaces in.

I don't know if we fixed it in the last season or so but i'm sure we didn't have the required number of wheelchair spaces for a while.

I think the Purslow plan had the tunnel moving?

A quick google suggests the Premier League recommends a stadium of Villa Park’s size has about 216 wheelchair seats. But from what I can see has between 79 and 114.

But there’s no dates on the latter info, so not sure how up to date it is.
