Loads of congestion around the ground this morning at around 7.30 due to a really long articulated truck carrying steels presumably for the Warehouse site. Note to builders: When your having a delivery of unusually large proportions which is obviously going to struggle to make the turn into the narrow gates don't do it in the fucking rush hour!!!

One for the Project Managers more than the builders.

One for the customer (The Club). Abnormal or long loads only delivered at a specified time slot ie.between 9 pm and 12 am. It should have been written into the contract. There will be no deliveries to the site tomorrow.

Good luck with that.

None after 12 or 1pm I should have said.

Of course. When I used the term builders I meant the Contractors rather than the guys with a trowel in their hands! Drove past it later in the day and the steels are going in at the far end next to the Aston Hotel. It's going to be much higher than the original roof. I can't remember the renders but it looks like they're keeping the brick facade with all the artwork. That would be cool.

I don't want to start a new thread to ask this question, and it is related to the redevelopment plans.

How did people find the trains after the game last night (vs Tottenham)?

I left before the lap of appreciation had ended, walked up the ramp at Witton Station and had to wait all of a minute to get on a train in to New Street and beyond. This was at about five to ten.

Was it equally as easy to get on a train later on? Or was it bedlam as usual?

I normally wouldn't consider the trains for after the game because I'm used to walking past the ramp and seeing it packed with people queuing to get back to New St as well as a scramble on the road to get on to the ramp too.

Our experiences of the trains to and from Marston Green to Witton this season have been good.

I think it being a Friday evening and earlier helped - so 9:30ish rather than gone 10.

Fans staying of course would have helped .

Not one to give the new Chris Heck ideas, but imagine if they charged a few quid to enter the ballot?

Saw a post saying that the Holte Pub might be following the Suite to corporate and not available to ST holders

That might make sense with them thinking they can funnel the masses into the new beer hall.

Doubt it. Can’t see the prawn sandwich brigade, finishing off their Bollinger, to then fight their way through the masses to get to their seats.

Building a tunnel, by all accounts.
