Prepped as in closing the Upper Trinity? As England v Andorra will be about as palatable as Villa v Burton Albion circa 2017.

I reckon it will sell out. I am curious how many away fans turn up though.

Of course it will (maybe apart from away fans as you say). Will STH and members get first dibs do we know?

Darren Woolley gets first dibs, and then it goes on general sale.

It will sell out to England fans easy. Chance for fans in the Midlands and further north to see a game without the cost and time to travel to Wembley. Also worth remembering our average for the 2 Burton league games was over 37k.

A team of UEFA officials are currently doing a 4 day inspection /audit of the ground for the 2028 Euros , so I’m sure everything is on track for it to all be completed by then
Be good to know what they think of the Doug Ellis upper concourse

Or at all, depending on how far up the leg the piss flood is at the time.

Who was the last Villa player to play for England at Villa Park?

David James. Subbed at half-time in a 3-0 friendly win against Spain in 2001.

The last Villa player to score for England at Villa Park was Albert Wilkes, in a 2-2 draw against Scotland in 1902. Another Villa player, Bobby Templeton, scored for Scotland.

Ugo scored in that game I think, but he wasn’t a Villa player by then.

🚨🧨 Villa Park is being prepped to host England’s next World Cup qualifier against Andorra in September.

Isn't it moved to Villa Park due to Coldplay doing 10 nights at Wembley in late Aug/early Sept? Thank you, Coldplay!

It would make more sense to put out a Coldplay XI against Andorra.
At least they'd be no injury worries as they've got a physio to Fix You.
I SAID THEY'VE GOT A PHYSIO TO FIX YOU!
Suit yourselves.

The problem is that there'd be a kit clash as Andorra's away shirt is YELLOW.

It's a shame we are not playing a bigger nation.  I want to Look at the Stars.

Seeing as we seem to lose against the first decent team we play in tournaments, we might be in Trouble then.

No. Was looking through and seems to be a common theme of players playing for England at Villa Park either before or after playing for Villa. Southgate, Ehiogu, Heskey, and Downing, as well, from memory. And James, but he played while he was here, too.

Presumably this means Konsa and Watkins will be off this summer, we won't hold onto Rashford, and we won't sign Saka, Rice and Bellingham until the January transfer window. ☹️

Gavin McCann notoriously(?) played in that Spain game too. Sven's first squad. Pre-Villa also.
