I'd be tempted to bring on Trez for Bert

Game has totally passed Traore by. Trez is the obvious change alright but maybe Davis up top and Watkins on right. Leeds are leaving a lot of space behind their full backs at times.

Delighted with the attitude of the players and their application without the ball. AEG looks very sharp and looks a good bet for a second. Nakamba in particular has caught the eye.

As others have said, the pitch is a cabbage patch.

Good half, though but too much long ball. Traore very quiet, needs to step up. Think Leeds have a goal in them, so we’ll need another. Ollie is playing really well and not giving them any peace. El Ghazi took his goal really well.

Given the state of the pitch I can understand why they are playing the long ball on occasions.

Impressed with Ramsey, and our midfield has competed for the first time in a while. Long way to go but I'm heartened by the fact that the changes have had some impact.

There was a passage of play just after half-hour, where Targett played a free-kick up to Mings, who lost it and fell on his arse, leading to a Leeds break - at their usual pace of such things.  Jacob tracked the guy with the ball thirty yards, from about five yards back, to tackle and get the ball out of play, allowing everyone to reset.  Not a very glamorous piece of play, but had me punching the air - proper effort, and recognising his responsibility to the team.

I know it's unfair, but I couldn't help thinking it was a run Barkley would not have made.

Exactly - and with the 'famous' Leeds 'press' it's sensible.

Ramsey trying to do a little bit too much at the moment.

Disagree completely.  For such a young player, one of the things that most impresses me is his discipline and economy of style, resisting the easy temptation to try and look the next best thing.

That was on AEG. Should've spotted him much earlier.

That clearly shouldn't have been a corner against us.

Traore very much on the fringes of the game. He is working hard but can’t get in the game.
