he's playing well - but his recent performances would have made that comment fair enough at the time.

McGinn's doing some great defensive work.

Raphinha is quality. Will be tough to keep him quiet.

Need to keep going forward. We're looking a real threat.

I wonder if we're seeing more committed performances because of Smith dropping players - it may have made a few realise that Deano will drop people when deserved.

Something in that I reckon. There seemed to be an air of complacency starting to creep in.
