Maybe Gilbert had his nose put out when we signed Cash, and asked for a transfer. Elmo is a capable player and a model professional. No one knows the full story but perhaps our management didn’t want an unhappy player around the squad.

I confidently predict that Leeds will go after our right hand side like a kid in a sweet shop.
I think it's all about the future. They want Guilbert playing games but he's not good enough to usurp Cash. Elmo is at the end of his deal so the plan was probably to keep him as a deputy on the bench with Cash being consistent and young enough to stay fit.Next season, Elmo will be gone and Guilbert will be back, unless of course they promote Kesler and let Guilbert go completely. I think the timing was unfortunate.

I also just have good things to say about Elmo. Composed, smart, positional sense, seems a person that carry himself well as you say on here. Might not be the fastest anymore but gives what he have for the team.
