If, if Grealish is out, I think it changes a lot in terms of any potential changes Smith might of been considering. Whether Barclays form is poor and Traores mixed or not, there is no way for me, Smith loses Grealish, Barclay and Traore from the starting line up, it completely nullifies the majority of support that Watkins has had this season.
If Jack is out, I think Traore will have to start on the left with Trez on the right and Barclay having one more chance to step up behind Watkins.

If the Grealish rumours are true

                 Martinez

Elmo.          Konsa.  Mings.    Targett

                   Luiz.     McGinn

Trez.                  Barclay.        Traore

                          Watkins

Yep, thats what I'd go with too, McGinn with the freedom to get further forward.

Barkleys poor form doesnt justify a place in the team for me.

Maybe keep Traore on the right, bring in Ramsey on the left. Deffo the 3 in midfield.

If Jack is out, I'd be amazed if Barkley didn't start, unfortunately.

IF Grealish is out with shin-splints it will be for quite a while. We will find out tomorrow at 1.05pm if he is playing or not. Time for others to step up to the plate if so. As much as he is our best outfield player, Captain and talisman we cannot and should no longer be reliant on one player to be the main focus. "Give the ball to Jack," a la Bruce is long gone.

Not sure why you'd want anything other than Ollie playing as centre forward. The guy is scoring goals for fun at the moment.

Assuming no Jack pr Cash, I'd go

Martinez
Elmo - Konsa - Mings - Targett
Douglas - Nakamba
Trez - Barkley - AEG
Watkins

Traore & SJM benched, to be brought on 2nd half.
That’s a very dull looking side.

If Jack isn’t playing I’d certainly hope Traore is starting. We’d need a bit of magic, even McGinn further forward would help.

The give the ball to Jack tactic continues to this day. Let's not kid ourselves. If he is out, the likes of McGinn, Luiz, Traore and particularly Barkley who haven't performed in weeks will certainly have to step up.

Martinez

Targett
Mings
Konsa
Elmo

Luiz

Sanson

Traore
Watkins
Trez

What I'd go for aswell.

To counter Leicester's strength we really need to be solid centrally and if the jack injury is true gives us chance to go solid centrally by giving Sanson a first start or perhaps Nakamba will come back in.

Think Trez has to start really to help out AEM given the form Harvey Barnes is in for them and the runs he makes from the left.

And then on our left we give Traore or Barkley that free licence to drift in from left and try to be Jack for the day. When they're on it both can score or create.

It may just work but we're going to have to play very well to get anything I suspect.

Hopefully DS won't just go maverick and revert to last season and play Traore and Barkley and unload the central midfield as I think Leicester will score 2 or 3 past us no problem if we give them the space we gave to Arsenal and Brighton.
