You cannot defend us in midfield with the likes of Ashley Westwood.

It's a pleasure to watch. Dean has really got the side ticking nicely and has found a great balance of athleticism and ability. I felt sorry for Conor being immediately dropped for Ross (having started the season pretty well) and not featuring since. But as we can see with how we've progressed, he hasn't got the legs and Sanson fits the midfield mould as an ideal competitor for McGinn/Barkley. There's no room for sentiment in this game. We look like we have a plan that's paying off.

I suspect we'll have the legs on Burnley in the second half if we keep the momentum up and they spend more time chasing the ball. Lets be a bit more cuttroat. I think we're overplaying on occasions but I see us scoring again and Mings has also been (touch wood) very focused.

Jack is a different level. He's due a goal.

What a fantastic half of football from us. Traktowski? nearly did Watkins with a Mee tackle when he got his yellow, thats a worry.

Can’t believe I haven’t heard the phrase “He is the most fouled player in the Premier League” yet.

Lovely to watch,  and Ollie on course to 20 prem goals.
Which leads me to a question I shamefully couldn't answer to my son... who was last 20 goals in the prem? 😳

Some of our football is verging on tiki-taka, I'm fuckin loving it.

I know xG isn't for everyone but it sums that half up really well https://twitter.com/dvtavfc/status/1354501766713323520?s=19

Win this with a couple more goals and playing like we are and MOTD will go overboard on us later.  Let them in and it all goes to waste

The destroying of Liverpool was a bit of a a freak result, but it's now clear we can do that to anybody.  Teh only thing we need to do is take our many chances more frequently.

Brilliant but worry is somehow these footballing Neanderthals could manage to get themselves back in the game second half as we have wasted chances.

The only opportunity I see for them is Targett is getting pulled out of position leaving a massive space behind him with an unmarked player in our box on the left. Somebody needs to be doing their job in front of Targett.

Don't think anyone has done it since football was invented in '92.

Benteke got 19.
