It was good of Schar to share the ball with Watkins. The keeper obviously thought " I got you babe" but he was wrong.

I'll get me coat.

Bloody hell Damo!!!!!!
I've heard of off nights but this is unbelievable.

I am so enjoying watching the Villa this season. It's like a huge dark cloud that was hanging over the ground for years has finally moved away.

They do realise that you can not be offside if you are behind the ball when it is played,

That goal was why Deano complaining is so important. It shouldn’t happen, but you just know that the next marginal decision would go our way after what happened on Wednesday. All the top managers get away with it, Smith is definitely graduating to the next level
Great point.

Doug a bit sluggish on the ball so far. Would've been amazing move if he'd just played it through there.

If you're talking about the bit I think it was about a yard away from being one of the best bits of play I've seen for years, 4-5 1-touch passes in a row and Watkins was away if the last one had beaten the defender.

We are a little bit casual in attacking areas. Playing too many fancy balls.

Ollie Watkins is the perfect forward for this system. Works so hard. Just need another forward like him to give him a rest

When Targett put the cross in Ollie looked slightly ahead of him(the defender) I thought at that point he would of been given off? Especially when you look back at the goal he had chalked off at West Ham. I honestly don't know anymore.

I hope that this isn't going to be a case of 'famous last words' but Mings is playing bloody well tonight.

The final ball came off the defender though.
