Watkins still looking massively out of sorts.
I couldn't disagree more.

He's looked a lot sharper since then to be fair!
I think he's done all he can so far. He's not had a single chance. He deserves credit after single handedly chasing down the city defence for the whole of the first half.

Too many unforced errors, we are giving the ball away all the time and asking the defence to keep bailing us out. Can not last long.

Citeh are brilliant
But paradoxically they are beatable.

All fart and no shit, as my grandad would say.  They'll dominate possession, and knock it around one-touch looking great - but they're not creating that many good chances (yet).

Yeh I agree. He has a thankless task tonight. He’s defending high up and it’s not easy. We have to try and give him attacking chances but it won’t be easy. Let’s be honest a point is a win today.

Foden is having a field day on our right flank. Cash not getting any support from Traore again but he is also backtracking into our box too much. We have to make a change there. Maybe Nakamba even and switch McGinn over there in a midfield three.

Our midfield duo, odd occasion aside, haven't been able to break their press. Resulting in a lot of long balls to no one in particular. Agreed on Barks, miles off pace and trying unnecessary flicks when we need to retain possession.

Still in the game but under huge pressure.

Some outstanding blocks from us in the box but feels inevitable one will deflect in eventually.

Man. City obviously watched the Chelsea game and how poor Traore is at reading the play once he gets back alongside Cash, too easily for them to slip a ball through and have a good crossing situation. Would get AEG early on second half.

Some good promising early counters for us, just the wrong weight of pass each time. We can score here for sure with a bit more composure.

Really need to keep hold of the ball and make most of their defence, we can open it as we have but done OK so far. Usual, they could just do 1 pass or move and do us.

It's the first time I've properly noticed just how good City's pressing is. When they lose possession the whole side goes into a pressing frenzy for half a dozen seconds.  It makes it very difficult to get anything going yourself.  I bet their stats for regaining possession within five or six seconds of losing it are pretty good.

I would get some legs on for Barkley and Traore.
